What are the beaches like in Krabi?
Krabi’s beaches are considered some of the best in Thailand. This stretch of the Andaman coast is characterised by limestone cliffs and bordered by more than 100 offshore islands, with beautiful sandy beaches and turquoise waters sandwiched in between.
How do I get to Railay Beach?
You’ll need to take a boat to reach Railay Beach. You can catch one from Ao Nang Beach and the journey takes around 15 minutes. In low season or bad weather, you may need to set off from Ao Nam Mao or Krabi instead.

“If you don’t mind climbing a few stairs, then visit the Tiger Temple (no tigers present) but go in the morning or so temperatures are lower. It’s hard work getting to the top – but the views are all the reward you will need. Oh, and remember to take drinking water with you and make sure your shoulders are covered as it is a temple.”
