Start your Journey
Bali Beach to Lovina
Depart your beach hotel for a visit to Taman Ayun Temple, well known for its surrounding moat. Afterwards, continue to the Alas Kedaton Forest, home to hundreds of tame monkeys, before visiting the sacred Tanah Lot Temple. After lunch, enjoy picturesque scenery as you drive through the rice terraces, stopping to view the Ulun Danu Temple in the centre of Lake Beratan. Continue through coffee plantations to Lovina Beach on the north coast where you will spend the night.
Lovina to Candidasa
Awake early this morning for a cruise on a traditional fishing boat to see dolphins who swim in the waters off this coastline, before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Later, depart for Kintamani via Singaraja, visiting the Pura Beji Temple on the way. On arrival in Kintamani, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before proceeding to the old Besakih Mother Temple on the slopes of Mount Agung, more than 3000 metres above sea level. Arrive at Candidasa late afternoon and check-in to your hotel.
Candidasa to Ubud
After breakfast, depart for Ubud via Kusamba to see the eerie Bats Cave, Goa Lawah. Continue to Kerta Gosa, the former courts of justice dating back to the 18th Century. After lunch, proceed to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), the hermitage of the Buddhist and Hindu priest. Drive through rice terraces to the village of Ubud, Bali's centre of art, famous for its beautiful paintings and woodcarvings.
Ubud departure
After breakfast check-out of your hotel and depart southward, visiting the villages of Mas and Celuk, famous for woodcarvings, gold and silverware before arriving back to your Bali beach hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
