Resting on the southern banks of the Zambezi River at the western end of the eponymous falls, our Victoria Falls & Hwange eight-day tour combines a visit to Botswana’s majestic Victoria Falls with Zimbabwe’s spectacular Hwange National Park.
Explore the very best of ‘The Smoke That Thunders’ - one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Fly over the falls in a helicopter, bungee jump off Victoria Falls Bridge, white-water raft down the river (seasonal) or spend the day in Chobe National Park. Victoria Falls also offers some excellent restaurant options as well as an eclectic variety of African curios and authentic art sold by friendly Zimbabwean locals who are wonderfully welcoming and eager to help you enjoy your stay.
Hwange National Park is the country's biggest reserve, home to a diverse range of wildlife, including giraffe, lion, zebra and approximately 40,000 elephants. It provides a beautiful sanctuary for the country’s endangered species, including a population of wild dog thought to be among the most sizeable surviving groups on the continent. The park’s magnificent terrain ranges from desert dunes, savannah lands and mopane woodlands to rocky outcrops and sparse forests, offering fantastic wildlife viewing.
From exhilarating game drives to peaceful boat cruises and cultural village visits, this tour is sure to provide you with plenty of unforgettable memories. Comfortable tented camps, and a picturesque lodge on the banks of the Zambezi, will provide rest and relaxation along the way.
