Victoria Falls, known to locals as ‘The Smoke That Thunders’ - is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The sheer power of this water plunging into the Zambezi Gorge is awe-inspiring and unforgettable.
Thrill-seekers can enjoy scenic flights over the falls, bungee jumping off Victoria Falls Bridge, white-water rafting (seasonal), canoeing and more. In town, there is an excellent range of restaurants as well as an eclectic variety of African art and handicrafts sold by friendly Zimbabwean locals who are wonderfully welcoming and helpful.
Chobe River forms the northern boundary of Chobe National Park, renowned for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities. This section of the park is best known for its dense concentration of wildlife including elephant and hippo populations, but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them. Wildlife enthusiasts can look forward to plenty of exciting activities on this tour such as; driving along the game-dotted river banks in a 4WD and cruising along the river in a motorboat.
There will also be some time to relax, perhaps have a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or unwind and watch the natural show from the game viewing deck at sunset. Many magical memories will be made on this epic six-day tour which ensures you can see the very best of this location in a short space of time.

Start your Journey
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
You will be met and driven from Victoria Falls Airport to Victoria Falls River Lodge. This journey should take approximately forty-minutes and along the way, your driver will provide some informative commentary on the area and places of interest.
Victoria Falls River Lodge is a luxury tented lodge situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River - so close to Victoria Falls, you are able to see the spray in the distance. You’ll spend three nights at Victoria Falls River Lodge in luxury tented accommodation on a full board basis. There are plenty of activities for you to choose from during your stay. Game activities include a choice of either a morning or afternoon game drive in Zambezi National Park, a sunset river cruise (subject to availability) and bird watching.
Uninterrupted panoramic views of African sunsets and exceptional wildlife viewing makes this the ideal place from which to explore Victoria Falls. The main lodge has an open plan design and has been positioned just back from the river - in view of the elephants' natural evening route. Sit back and sip on a cocktail, under the shade of the thatched roof, as the elephants graze along the river line.
There is an optional daily transfer from camp to Victoria Falls town, a tour of the Falls (part of the daily transfer to town) - a visit to the rainforest, transfers to/from the national park gate/jetty for third party services, two game activities per person per day inclusive of park fees.
Chobe River Front
After breakfast, you will be picked up by a driver and taken on a two-hour journey from Victoria Falls River Lodge to Chobe Chilwero. You’ll spend two nights at Chobe Chilwero, a luxurious retreat in the heart of the bush, located on the edge of Chobe National Park, the second largest national park in Botswana, where some 150,000 elephants roam. From the lodge’s hilltop position, you can enjoy far reaching panoramic views over the Chobe River and floodplain below. The main public area includes a lounge, library and dining room, which are linked to outdoor game viewing patios. When you’re not out exploring the beautiful nature that surrounds you, you’ll be able to relax in the split-level swimming pool or unwind with a pampering session in the full service spa complete with treetop treatment room.
Game activities are scheduled according to the whims of guests and game movements. Professional guides lead game drives in open 4x4 game viewing vehicles and on water safaris by motorboat. A late afternoon boat cruise heads directly towards the sunset as elephant, hippo, buffalo and a profusion of bird life grace the banks of the river as they quench their thirst.

Following breakfast, a scheduled transfer to Kasane Airport will collect you from the lodge. Your Victoria Falls & Chobe tour ends here.
