Climb to the Canopy Walkway and find your place among the canopy of trees, getting closer than you ever thought possible to the creatures that call this elevation home. Experience Yagua Indian culture as you visit a local village and explore the town of Indiana. Learn how Amazonians use their rainforest plants to heal and nourish when you visit an Ethnobotanical Garden.

Start your Journey
Lima - Iquitos
After boarding a flight from Lima, start your adventure by flying to Iquitos. When you arrive, enjoy a quick tour of the city before climbing onboard a boat that will take you 25 miles down the Amazonas River to Ceiba Tops Lodge.
After enjoying lunch at the lodge, you’ll get acquainted with the captivating native landscape as you take a hike into the rainforest reserve that surrounds the lodge. Return to the lodge for dinner, then settle in for the night.
Iquitos
After a good night’s sleep, a boat ride awaits you this morning, with the chance to spot unique and rare pink dolphins along this freshwater river. You’ll also get an insight into the local Yagua Indian culture and lifestyle during a visit to a small village of Yagua Indians, an indigenous community in Peru who still use blow darts to this day when hunting for food in the rainforest.
This afternoon, walk to the neighbouring town of Indiana. Learn of its history as a Franciscan Mission, and how it become the sophisticated town it is today.
Iquitos
Rise early this morning and head out on a boat to the narrow motorcar crossing that connects the Amazon River with the Napo River. Travel onwards by boat to the ExplorNapo Lodge. After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, get ready for an incredible hike to the Canopy Walkway. Spanning over 500 metres, the walkway takes you high into the jungle canopy, up close to the jungle’s fascinating creatures.
After heading back for lunch at Ceiba Tops Lodge, visit the ReNuPeRu, an ethnobotanical garden, where 240 medicinal plants are grown. You’ll get to learn about the nature of Amazonian natural healing and how the plants are used. Return to the lodge once more, with time to relax before dinner.
Iquitos - Lima
Enjoy your last morning at Ceiba Tops Lodge. If you choose to take early morning flight, you’ll be taken to the airport in Iquitos after breakfast. If you have a later flight, why not take one last trip out on foot or by boat to soak up your incredible surroundings one last time, before making the journey back to the airport to catch your flight home?
