Advanced Passenger Information does not need to be supplied to American Airlines prior to travel.  It will be collected by the airline at time of check in.

London Heathrow: all destinations depart from Terminal 3.

Manchester: all destinations depart from Terminal 3.

Edinburgh: all destinations depart from the Main Terminal

Economy Class: 1 piece not exceeding 23kg in weight

Business and First Class:  2 pieces not exceeding 23kg in weight per piece.

You may bring the following onto the airplane:

One carry-on bag  –  Length should not exceed 22in / 56cm, width should not exceed 14in / 35cm and height should not exceed 9in / 23cm. The bag must fit in the baggage frames located throughout the check-in area at the airport. A garment bag that fits in the baggage frame will count as your one carry-on bags.

On top of the above allowance, you may also take one personal item, such as purse, briefcase, laptop bag, duty free shopping bag or similar.  Total dimensions may not exceed 36in / 91cm (length + width + height)

Online check in opens 24 hours before you flight departure time. Alternatively you can check in at the Airport from 3 hours and up until 60 minutes prior to your scheduled flight departure time.
