We are one of the longest standing partners of Just a Drop, an international water aid organisation providing sustainable clean water and suitable sanitation solutions to communities in need.
Modern Slavery Statement
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business. This commitment is an integral part of our policies and the way we do business. This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 with respect to the financial year ending 30 September 2019 and sets out the steps the Travelopia Group has taken to ensure that slavery or human trafficking is not taking place in our operations and supply chains.
Green holidays
Working alongside the Federation of Tour Operators, we encourage our hotels to adopt the Travelife Sustainability System. This helps us recognise those that are environmentally and socially sustainable. The best performing hotels receive a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Travelife Award. Hotels who receive a Bronze have reduced their impact on the environment and treated their people fairly; Silver is for hotels that additionally played an active role in helping the local community and the environment; and Gold is awarded to hotels that demonstrate advanced sustainability practices, seek continual improvements, and communicate their progress. Many of our hotels have received a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Travelife Award for their efforts toward the Travelife Sustainability System. Together we work with Travelife to make holiday experiences more sustainable and to manage and improve environmental and social impacts. We hope that our continuous efforts to promote sustainability will encourage more hotels to aim for Gold Travelife Awards in the coming years.
