Arrival in Delhi
Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India. You will be picked up from the airport and dropped off at your hotel in a private cab.
Get ready to experience New Delhi with all your senses. Lose yourself in Old Delhi’s bustling markets, including the 17th-century Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest markets in India. Visit the grand Red Fort, built in the 17th century and the impressive Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques known for its intricate paintings, carvings, stone and tile work. Exquisite arts and crafts and gastronomic treats await you in the Dilli Haat open-air bazaar. Soak in the grandeur of Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend time at India Gate, a war memorial, and the beautiful Laxminarayan Temple.
Drive from Delhi to Agra
Leave New Delhi for Agra in a private chauffeur-driven car. The duration of the journey will be four hours.
Experience the beauty of the Taj Mahal in all its glory on a sunrise visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour the sprawling Agra Fort, a walled city that served as the residence of the erstwhile Mughal rulers. Spend time at the Jahangir Palace, the exquisitely decorated Khas Mahal, and the impressive Diwan-i-Khas. Take in views of the surroundings and the Taj Mahal from the beautifully framed windows. Head to the Mehtab Bagh, a riverside garden that provides a vantage point for enjoying views of the Taj Mahal against the foreground of the Yamuna River. Stop at the UNESCO-listed Fatehpur Sikri (Day 5), the former capital of the Mughal empire that Emperor Akbar founded in the 1500s.
Arrival in Ranthambore
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Bharatpur in a private vehicle. You will visit Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Travel duration is 2.5 hours from Agra to Bharatpur, without stops.
Board your train from Bharatpur to Ranthambore, a train journey of 2.5 hours. Disembark at Sawai Madhopur station. Transfer to your hotel from the railway station to the hotel, a 30 min car ride, in a chauffeur driven private vehicle.
Head out on morning and evening safaris, and who knows, you might get lucky and spot a lone tiger quenching its thirst or a tigress tending to its litter. Do note that safari routes are selected by a government-run lottery system. All routes provide a fascinating glimpse of life in the forest and the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife.
Drive from Ranthambore to Jaipur
Leave Ranthambore for Jaipur in your chauffeur-driven private vehicle. The travel duration is four hours.
You will find history and royalty in almost every corner of Jaipur, dubbed the Pink City for its pink-hued buildings. Look through the honeycombed facade of the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. Walk along the ramparts of Amber Fort and take in vistas of the surroundings and long-range views of Jaipur city. Admire the City Palace and tour its magnificent courtyards, temples and pavilions.
