Java, Yogyakarta
You will be met at Yogyakarta airport by your English speaking guide, who will accompany you to your hotel in a private vehicle.
The highlight of your time in Yogyakarta is exploring two magnificent temple complexes that are also UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Borobudur is one of the largest Buddhist monuments in the world and Prambanan is Indonesia's largest temple complex that contains 240 religious structures. Get a glimpse of Yogyakarta's vibrant nightlife as well on a personalised tour of the city.
Borneo, Tanjung Puting National Park
Your next stop is Tanjung Puting National Park, one of Asia's last tropical rainforests.
After landing at Pangkalan Bun Airport in Central Kalimantan, you will be transferred to the port of Kumai, where you will board a 'Klotok', a traditional riverboat. As you cruise along the Sekonyer River into Tanjung Puting National Park, your guide will help you spot the wildlife that inhabits the region. In addition to its most famous residents, the orangutans, the park is home to leopards, lizards, over 600 species of birds, and crocodiles as well.
You will also get to visit the renowned Camp Leakey, an orangutan research and rehabilitation center, and an orangutan feeding station at Pondok Tanggui.
Java, Mt.Bromo
After admiring the wildlife at Tanjung Puting National Park, it is time to head for the famous volcano of Mount Bromo.
The ideal time to enjoy the fabulous views is at dawn, which means the day starts rather early! You will be driven in a private vehicle to the rim of Mount Penanjakan, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding area. After savouring the sunrise, you will be driven to the foot of Mount Bromo, from where you can walk about 250 steps to the rim of the crater. The walk is worth it, and more amazing views await you at the top.
Bali, Ubud
You will be driven to the airport to board your flight from Surabaya to Denpasar. The duration of the flight is about one and a half hours, following which you will be driven to your hotel in Ubud a private vehicle.
Ubud is regarded as the cultural centre of Bali. Explore Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), a sanctuary for Buddhist monks that dates back to the 9th century. Marvel at the largest single-cast bronze kettle drum in the Pura Penataran Sasih temple at Pejeng, and the collection of artefacts at the Purbakala Archaeological Museum. You will also get to savour scenic views of the terrace fields at Tegalalang Rice Terrace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Bali, Seminyak
It's time to relax and unwind on Bali's world-famous beaches. Soak in the vibrant atmosphere as you stroll around at leisure. After enjoying a picturesque sunset, head off to a restaurant for a relaxed meal or step into one of the local nightclubs to experience Bali's famed nightlife.
