Start your Journey
Delhi
Your tour begins in the historic capital of city of Delhi. Stroll through the bustling markets of the Old Town, including the famed Chandni Chowk. Visit the Red Fort and admire the intricate architecture of India's largest mosque, the Jama Masjid.
Savour local delicacies at Dilli Haat before heading off to the Laxminarayan Temple, which was built in honour of the Hindu goddess of wealth. Wrap up your exploration of Delhi with a visit to Humayun's Tomb, a fabulous example of Indo-Islamic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Churu
Delve into the rich heritage of the Marwaris, the famous business community, on a walking tour of Churu. Your expert local guide will take you around to admire the quaint havelis (mansions) and regale you with stories about the culture of the Marwari people.
Bikaner
The next stop on your trip is the desert town of Bikaner, where a host of interesting experiences await you.
Befriend a rodent or two at the legendary Karni Mata Temple, which is also known as the Rat Temple. Learn about its history while you watch the rats drink the milk offered by the locals. Marvel at the local havelis while you enjoy a tonga (horse-drawn cart) ride through Bikaner's narrow streets.

Jaisalmer
You will be driven in a private vehicle from Bikaner to the Golden City, Jaisalmer.
Enjoy stunning views at the Gadi Sagar Lake or visit the formidable Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll around the temples, stepwells and houses of Kuldhara, a ghost village that is believed to have been abandoned overnight by its Paliwal Brahmin residents. At the village of Lodurva, you can visit a wonderful Jain temple with Torana architecture, and also marvel at the beauty of 19th century mansions such as Patwon ki Haveli and Nathmal ki Haveli.
Jodhpur
Jodhpur is known as the 'blue city' because of the vivid blue painted houses in the old quarter. Founded in the 15th century, it is packed with historical sites and no trip to Rajasthan is complete without visiting this fabulous city.
Marvel at the magnificence of Mehrangarh Fort, a formidable 15th century citadel that towers over Jodhpur. Explore the 6th century town of Mandore, and learn about life in the desert at the village of Salawas. You will also get to visit Jaswant Thada, a 19th century royal memorial and browse through a fabulous collection of imperial antiques, interesting clocks and vintage photographs at the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum.
Rohet
Embark on a jeep tour of Rohet, during which you will visit a Bishnoi village and meet the 'guardians of the desert'. The Bishnois are dedicated to protecting the ecology and wildlife of the area, and the blackbuck in particular. Witness their opium tea ceremony, learn about their way of life and observe their local artisans weave carpets to be sold at the local markets.
Udaipur
The City of Lakes, Udaipur, is home to the one of the largest palaces in the state, the 16th century City Palace. Stroll through the palace museum and enjoy spectacular views of the city from the hilltop before heading off to visit the 17th century Jagdish Temple, which is dedicated to the Hindu god, Krishna. Enjoy the splendour of Saheliyon ki Bari (Garden of Maids), with its lotus pools, lush lawns, elephant-shaped fountains and marble pavilions.
Immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of Udaipur's bazaars and ghats on a self-guided walk through lanes of the old city. Stroll around the lively Gangaur Ghat and make your way to the Clock Tower. Browse through the offerings of markets such as Mochiwada (Shoe Market), Utensil Market, Sabzi Mandi (vegetable market), Kumbharwada (Potters’ Market) and the metalworkers’ bazaar.
You will also get to enjoy spectacular views of the city on a boat ride on the famous Lake Pichola, while your guide narrates stories about the heroic rulers of Udaipur and Mewar.
Jaipur
After experiencing history and culture of the blue city and the city of lakes, it is now time to head to the pink city, Jaipur.
Explore the fabulous Amber Fort that overlooks the city, and browse through an interesting collection of artefacts at the Albert Hall museum. Admire the honeycombed façade of Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), and walk around the lovely courtyards and pavilions of the City Palace before heading for Jantar Mantar, an observatory complex. You will also get to learn about the traditional Indian technique of hand block textile printing at the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing.
Agra
