Your Japanese vacation begins in Tokyo. You will be driven from Narita airport to your hotel in a private vehicle.

Next, hop on the Tokyo Water Bus and cross the Sumidagawa (Sumida River) to reach the Hamarikyu Garden. Personalised Imperial Palace Complex Tour
Your guide will pick you up in a private vehicle and drive you to the Imperial Palace, the main residence of the Japanese emperor. The palace complex is surrounded by enormous stone walls and moats, and even though the palace itself isn’t open to the public, you can stroll around the grounds and pretty gardens. Admire the famous Nijubashi Bridge, a unique double bridge that connects the Kokyo Gaien Plaza to the inner palace grounds. Next, visit the Imperial East Gardens, a lush oasis at the centre of the city, where you can admire seasonal flowers and the remains of a castle tower.
Thereafter, head to the hip Marunouchi area, renowned for its modern skyscrapers and streets lined with retail stores. The city’s primary transit hub, Tokyo Station, is also located here. It can be easily recognised thanks to its red brick facade. This iconic building contains a labyrinth of stores that sell everything from clothing to souvenirs. You can also get a bite to eat at one of the food courts within the station.
Lake Kawaguchiko
You will be driven in a private vehicle from your hotel to Tokyo train station, where you will be assisted with boarding your train from Tokyo Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko. You can also climb Mount Fuji, go on boat tours, or take a ropeway to a neighbouring mountain and enjoy the view.
Explore Lake Kawaguchiko on your own
If the weather is fine and time isn’t a constraint, we recommend exploring Lake Kawaguchiko at your own pace. Begin at a convenient time and head for the largest of the Five Fuji Lakes. You can take a boat tour, go on a fishing excursion, or indulge in water sports. Travel to the lake’s northern shores on a clear day to enjoy spectacular views of Mount Fuji’s snow-capped peak.
Rejuvenate yourself with a dip in one of the hot spring baths by the lake. Admire the collection of automatic musical instruments at the Kawaguchiko Music Forest—a theme park and museum that houses large, early 20th century French fairground organs and antique music boxes. You can stop by one of the eateries on the premises for a meal. Later, ride the ropeway to the observation deck for a sweeping view of the mountain and lake. If you are travelling in autumn, make sure to visit the Momiji Tunnel to view the vibrant fall colours of maple trees.
Kyoto

Next, head to Nara Park, also called the deer park, where you can see over 1,000 Sika deer.
