Set off on a fascinating heritage walk through Old Delhi and discover its historic buildings and bustling markets. Walk the length and breadth of the 17th-century walled city and witness its glorious past as the capital of Emperor Shah Jahan’s Mughal kingdom. Pause at age-old havelis or traditional mansions and admire the imposing doorways that allow a little peek into the past. Listen to interesting anecdotes and tales about the city’s glorious period and return to your hotel with a deeper understanding of its journey through the centuries.

Leave New Delhi for Bikaner. You will be picked up at your hotel and dropped off at the airport. Board your flight from Delhi to Bikaner (Duration - 1 hour). You will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel upon arrival. 

Soak in the earthy beauty of Bikaner, set in the Thar desert. Learn about its astounding transformation; from barren land to a grand city. Tour the 15th-century Bandeshwar and Sandeshwar Temples, important places of worship for followers of Jainism and known for their exquisite mirror and enamel work interiors. Go on a guided tour of Lalgarh Palace, a beautiful Indo-Saracenic style palace, the Devi Kund, the royal crematorium and the Ganga Government Museum. Visit a local camel farm and learn how the lives of those in this region are intricately tied to this gentle desert animal. Spend time at the famous 16th-century Junagarh Fort and museum.

Leave Narlai for Shahpura in a private, chauffeur-driven vehicle. The duration of the journey is four hours. 

Come upon the beautiful oasis of Shahpura, a village that still retains much of its laid back charm.
