On your Yukon Northern Lights tour, you’ll have the chance to observe the sparkling kaleidoscope of colours of the Aurora Borealis phenomenon not once, not twice, but on three occasions. The remote and wild landscapes of Yukon are renowned for hosting the incredible natural occurrence of the Northern Lights in the skies. This secluded area is the best spot to visit in Canada for the chance of watching the stunning medley of colours twirling across the skies.
Our Northern Lights Canada tours offer some of the longest seasons for Aurora Borealis viewing. This is because the city of Whitehorse is so close to Canada’s Arctic Circle. Selected departure dates for your trip are offered between August and April. This gives you plenty of flexibility in planning your trip.
You’ll be able to gaze at the mesmerizing skies illuminated with streams of vivid and glowing green lights as you sit wrapped up warm in comfort. This is either in toasty heated cabins or sitting beside a roaring fire.
During your days, explore the fascinating scenic city of Whitehorse, which is surrounded by postcard-perfect mountain views. Although small, the city is rich in culture and heritage, and there are plenty of city highlights to discover.
Adrenaline junkies and adventurers will love experimenting with plenty of snow sports and activities. These include snowshoeing, tobogganing and dog sledding across frozen lakes.
