Start your morning with a tour through Surabaya's Old Quarter.
First up is a drive to Hong Tiek Hian, the oldest Chinese temple in Surabaya, before continuing on to Surabaya's Arba quarter know as Ampel or Kampung Arab. Explore the narrow lanes marked by arched gateways crowned with Arabic script, where you can find crowded stalls selling prayer beads, Peci and other religious paraphenalia. Visit Pabean market, the largest traditional market in Surabaya, linking together the Chinese and Arab quarters.
This afternoon take a flight over to Pangkalan Bun, Borneo. Lunch will be served on board and later you can observe the proboscis monkeys along the riverbank. Dinner will be served on board before overnight stay at Rimba Lodge.

Board the houseboat and continue to Camp Leakey before lunch on board. On arrival at Camp Leakey, you will visit the Information Centre to see all of the work by Dr. Birute Galdikas. Later, continue trekking in to the forest to see orangutan feeding until 4pm when you will head back to the boat.
If time permits before dinner you can trek into the forest for two hours to see nocturnal animals like tarsiers and tarantulas.
