Buenos Aires
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be transferred to your hotel.
In the afternoon, head out to explore the district of Palermo, known for its beautiful parks and artificial lakes. The City Zoo, Botanical Gardens of Buenos Aires, the Argentinian Horse track and the National Polo Fields are also located here.
On this tour, you will also get to visit some of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires - Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. These areas are dotted with designer boutiques and trendy cafes.
The rest of the evening is at leisure. If you would like to continue exploring the city, we recommend the Argentina culinary experience, an optional activity. This is a three-hour experience that showcases the best of Argentina's cuisine and culture.
Buenos Aires
Embark on a tour of Buenos Aires. Drive along 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest avenue in the world, passing landmarks such as the Colon Theatre. This is one of the world's best known opera houses. Next, visit the famous Avenida de Mayo that runs into the Plaza De Mayo to admire the beautiful historic buildings in the area. Along the way, stop by at a traditional coffee house for a cup of coffee and a snack.
Your next stop is Caminito street, a famous location in the colourful La Boca area. Continue north to the glamourous Recoleta area, where you will see elegant boutiques and restaurants. The Recoleta cemetery is situated in the heart of this neighbourhood. It is the final resting place of many of Argentina's most famous personalities. While here, stop by the grave of Eva Duarte, more famously known as Eva Perón (Evita).
In the evening, you will be taken to the tango house El Viejo Almacén (shared tour) to watch a Tango show and get a glimpse of Argentina's most famous cultural export. Witness lively performances over dinner, which includes an entrée, main course, dessert and drinks.
Buenos Aires
After breakfast, you will be driven to Ranch Estancia Santa Susana, where you will spend the day experiencing the assorted charms of the Argentinian countryside. Savour a barbeque lunch before enjoying a local folklore display, complete with music and dancing. Get a glimpse of estancia activities such as 'carrera de sortijas', a traditional sport where two teams gallop at full tilt under a wooden arch and pass a pin through a small ring hanging from the arch.
At the end of an eventful day, you will be transferred back to the city to one of the drop points that is closest to your hotel.
Drop points: Puerto Madero area/ Woman's Bridge, Galerias Pacifico (mall in the corner of Avenue Cordoba & Florida), Avenue Santa Fe & 9 de Julio, Juncal & Cerritom Obelisco, Colon Theatre, Irigoyen & Lima Street.
Buenos Aires to Iguazu
Take a morning flight to Iguazu and upon arrival, travel to the Argentinean National Park and the visitors centre before heading to the Interior Circuit (the down-river falls) and the Superior Circuit (the up-river cascades). The Ecological Jungle Train leads you to the most impressive observation point of the falls, The Devil's Throat. After this, depart to the Brazilian side of the falls and transfer to your hotel.
Iguazu
Today you will visit the Brazilian side of the falls. Walk along the paths following cascades and along the walkway that leads close to Devil's Throat.
Afternoon is at your leisure.
Iguazu to Rio de Janeiro
Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrive in Rio and transfer to your hotel before having a stroll along Copacabana Beach at your leisure. Rio is surrounded by natural beauty on all sides and overlooked by Christ the Redeemer, perched on top of Corcovado blessing the city and Sugar Loaf, one of the most famous postcards of the country.
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Corcovado. Depart on the cog train for the ride through Tijuca Forest, up to Corcovado Mountain and enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and the city. Climb the steps to the top, where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands. The tour continues, passing by Rio’s world-famous beaches as far as Urca District to board a cable car up Sugar Loaf Mountain. At 1200 feet high, you will never forget this experience.
In the evening you will experience Rio by Night, a cultural diversity combining the Northeast, the Amazon, the Pampas with its folklore. This carnival show gathers on stage featuring skilled dancers, entertainers, samba dancers and beautiful costumes. The Samba show includes dinner (no beverages).
Rio de Janeiro
You can spend the day at leisure or explore your surroundings before your transfer to the airport for your flight back home, or to your next destination.
