Costa Rica Beach And Jungle Tour

After landing in Juan Santamaria International Airport, you will be driven in a private vehicle to your hotel in La Fortuna. After checking in, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Today, you will be visiting a cacao farm to experience the fascinating bean to bar process of chocolate production. Learn about the history of chocolate and enjoy hands-on demonstrations of the various steps in chocolate-making. You will also get to know about the various tropical ingredients that find their way into Costa Rica's chocolate, such as Jamaica flower, cinnamon, nutmeg and chilli powder.

After learning about Costa Rica's chocolate, it's time to go white-water rafting on the Balsa River. You will get to navigate rapids such as Magnetic Rock and Dredges on this excursion. These are Class II-III rapids, which means that the whole family can enjoy a day of action and thrills.

During the trip, you will get to take a scenic break to bite into some of the region's delicious tropical fruit. Along the way, keep an eye out for monkeys, toucans and other wonderful animals.

After breakfast, you will be driven in a private vehicle to Manuel Antonio Beach.

Located on Costa Rica’s Pacific coastline, this small seaside village sits at the entrance of the Manuel Antonio National Park. The overhanging palms of its unspoilt beaches lie within an easy walking distance to the country’s most popular national park.

In the evening, head out on a a two-hour guided walk to explore the flora and fauna at Manuel Antonio National Park and Wildlife Refuge. Experience the forest at night as you keep an eye out for a variety of nocturnal animals. Your guide will point out interesting plants and animals as you make your way through the vegetation. Your tour ends at the Wildlife Refuge and The Amphibian Aquatic Garden.

After an interesting day out in the Costa Rican wilderness, check in to your hotel in Manuel Antonio.

Today, after breakfast, you will get to explore Manuel Antonio National Park in the daytime. Keep an eye out for a variety of monkeys, sloths, tropical birds and colourful butterflies. During your picturesque two-mile hike through the jungle, you will also get to visit one of the country's most beautiful beaches.

Fringed by a lush tropical rainforest, this white sandy beach has been voted as one of the most most beautiful in the world. Spend about half an hour at the beach, savouring the soothing atmosphere before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, set out on a scenic catamaran cruise from Quepos to explore Manuel Antonio Park's waterways. Your guide will point out interesting marine life as you marvel at the amazing landscape around you. The cruise will take you past picturesque cliffs, interesting rock formations and the nesting grounds of various birds.

Enjoy a barbecue lunch on board the catamaran. After exploring the sparkling coastline, your captain will anchor at Biesanz Bay for the afternoon. Laze on the deck and enjoy the view or go snorkelling in the bay to see colourful tropical fish. Some of the species you can expect to see here include parrot fish, angel fish and even starfish. If you are lucky, you might even spot a dolphin!

The last day of your holiday is free for you to relax and soak in your serene surroundings, or go on another small exploration of the area.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel, and head for the airport to catch your flight back home.
