Today, you’ll take a transfer to Mumbai airport to board a flight to Rajkot. After landing, you will be met at the airport and then driven to The Gateway Hotel Gir Forest in Sasan Gir. Check in and the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your own leisure.
Gir National Park
Today, enjoy discovering the Gir National Park in an open-top 4X4. The main attraction to Gir National Park is the possibility of seeing an Asiatic lion in the wild. It’s the only place in the world where you can find this type of lion. Its hilly terrain also makes it the ideal habitat for leopards, jackals, deers and antelopes. As well as crocodiles by the river and more than 300 different types of birds. Your 4X4 safari will be a private tour to discover the wildlife, learn about the stunning flora and fauna, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. The day is planned around the optimal times for spotting the local wildlife. For example, the best chance of catching a glimpse of the lions here is early morning, when they are more active. Your safari drive will head out early morning and then again, later in the afternoon.
Gir – Rajkot – Mumbai
Today, a transfer will drive you to Rajkot airport for your return flight back to Mumbai. Landing at Mumbai airport, you’ll be met and driven to the Fariyas Hotel.
Leave Mumbai
Today, a transfer will pick you up from the Fariyas Hotel and take you to Mumbai airport to board your flight home.
