The magnificent Iguazu Falls straddling the border of Brazil and Argentina are one of the most impressive and wonderful waterfalls to witness in the world. With 275 individual drops it is three times wider than Niagara Falls, in fact First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt remarked when she saw Iguazu for the first time, "Poor Niagara".
Besides Iguazu's sheer size, one thing that makes it really standout from the rest of the World’s great waterfalls is that the Brazilian and Argentinean side offer very different perspectives and we therefore have included visits to both sides on this tour. The Brazilian side provides the iconic panoramic view, perfect for admiring how impressive Iguazu is. You can even get close enough that the spray from the Falls will soak you (if you want to get that close of course). Whereas the Argentinean side offers multiple viewing points including from above the Falls so you can grasp how powerful the water is. There are even several walking trails here which allow you to explore more of the national park.
A trip to Brazil really is incomplete without visiting Iguazu Falls.
