Famously renowned as one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the sheer power of this massive body of water plunging into the Zambezi Gorge, is awe-inspiring and unforgettable.
Moving on to Chobe River in Chobe National Park, this location is renowned for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities. Chobe National Park is home to a dense concentration of wildlife including elephant and hippo populations and the waters attract all manner of wildlife including large herds of buffalo - and the lions that prey on them. When you visit this area you are almost guaranteed close encounters with African wildlife. You can look forward to some exciting activities, including driving along the game-dotted river banks in a 4x4, cruising along the river by boat, and spotting rare birdlife, from tiny kingfishers to magnificent fish eagles.
From Chobe National Park, you’ll move on to Okavango Delta. For three-days, you’ll enjoy morning and evening game drives, before finishing your Discover Botswana tour in Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi is considered by many to be one of Africa’s most pristine game reserves, with an astonishing range of wildlife. Named after the chief of the Batawana tribe who created the reserve, Moremi lies to the north-east of Maun and spreads out across about one-fifth of the vast Okavango Delta.

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
You will be collected from Victoria Falls Airport and taken on a short drive to Victoria Falls Hotel. The Victoria Falls Hotel, popularly known as ‘the grand old lady of the Falls’, is situated in Victoria Falls National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Set in lush tropical gardens with lily ponds, palm trees and semi-tropical shrubs, the hotel provides tranquility and seclusion, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The famous Victoria Falls are just a ten-minute walk away using the hotel’s private pathway, and Mosi-O-Tunya - the smoke that thunders - as it is known in the local dialect, is clearly audible and visible from this landmark.
In the late afternoon enjoy a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River aboard the Zambezi Royal. From the boat, it is common to witness elephant, giraffe and even rhino coming down to the river to drink. The river is also abundant with hippo, crocodile and birdlife.
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
After breakfast, you will be taken on a walking tour of Victoria Falls. This natural phenomenon is one of the seven natural Wonders of the World - and it’s no surprise, as Victoria Falls is an immense curtain of water cascading over 100 metres. Around 550 million litres flow over the edge every minute, at peak flow this increases to 750 million litres. The rainforest surrounding the falls thrives from the waterfall’s spray. Here you’ll find a variety of plant species rarely found elsewhere in Zambia or Zimbabwe.
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Today can be spent at leisure, enjoying the hotel facilities or exploring the beautiful nature and activities on offer in this location. For the adventurous, white water rafting, canoeing, zip lining, bungee jumps are a few of the activities that can be experienced here in the adventure capital of Africa.
Chobe National Park
After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel in Victoria Falls and taken on a one-and-a-half hour drive to Chobe Chilwero. Chobe Chilwero is situated in Kasane Forest Reserve bordering the legendary Chobe National Park. Chilwero translates as “place of high view” and this lovely lodge lives up to its name with splendid views across Chobe River, which is famed for its sunsets and the huge concentrations of elephant that come down to the water’s edge to drink.
You’ll spend two nights at Chobe Chilwero in a beautiful cottage with an en-suite bathroom on a full board basis. During the day you can experience scheduled game viewing activities with a naturalist, such as game drives in open 4x4 game viewing vehicles and water safaris by motorboat. There is a late afternoon boat cruise, which heads directly towards the sunset. You can spot elephant, hippo, buffalo and the profusion of birdlife that grace the banks of the river as they quench their thirst.
Okavango Delta
Following breakfast, you’ll board a light aircraft from Kasane to Stanley's Camp airstrip. The flying time is approximately one hour and twenty minutes. You will spend three nights at Stanley's Camp in a safari-tent with en-suite facilities on a full board basis. During the day there will be scheduled game viewing activities. If you wish, you can also enjoy an optional elephant excursion (surcharge applies).
Game drives are in open-sided 4x4 vehicles, bringing you close to elephants as they drink and frolic at the water's edge in their boisterous herds. You’ll also get up-close and with hippos, buffalo, puku and other animals that gather on the banks of the Chobe River. The puku, a small rusty-brown antelope, alongside impala, kudu and red lechwe, are only a few of the common antelope found here. Lion and leopard are also found in the area.
Moremi Game Reserve
After breakfast at the camp you’ll venture by light aircraft from Stanley’s Camp to Chief's Camp. The flying time is approximately fifteen-minutes. Here, you’ll spend two nights at Chief's Camp in a luxury-tented suite with en-suite facilities on a full board basis, including scheduled game viewing activities, local brand drinks and laundry.
The game viewing opportunities at Sanctuary Chief's Camp are awe-inspiring as you explore the Delta in a modified open 4x4 vehicle on morning and afternoon game drives.. On the plains, one may discover roaming lions that prey on antelope, zebra and buffalo who live here all year round. There are also healthy populations of wild dog. These extremely rare predators have been hunted to the point of extinction in most areas of Africa and this is one of their last strongholds. There are several local lion prides and leopards, genet cats and hyena are in abundance here.
End of itinerary
After breakfast, you will be collected from the camp and taken to the airport for a flight to Maun Airport. This flight takes approximately twenty minutes. From here, you will connect with your onward flights.
