Arrival at Marrakech Airport
Arrive at Marrakech Airport where you'll be greeted and driven towards the coastal town of Essaouira.
On the way, you’ll start to familiarise yourself with Morocco. Learn about the native argan tree as you pass the forests and witness first-hand how the kernels are used to make the famous argan oil with a demonstration from a local argan oil producer.
Continue onwards to the seaside town of Essaouira, located on Morocco's Atlantic Coast. The old town – the medina - is shielded by ramparts built in the 1700s, and is well-known as a laid-back alternative to the busier Marrakech. Watersports are popular along the waterfront, due to the windy weather.
Stay for the first of two nights in a charming hotel in the heart of Essaouira, with a terrace boasting great views and a popular local restaurant.

After experiencing your first Moroccan breakfast, explore the hub of Essaouira - a working 16th century fishing village, where locals and visitors alike enjoy browsing the bustling fish market.
The town features a blend of Portuguese and Moroccan military architecture from the days of the Portuguese invasion in the 15th century, which you can observe today. Discover the medina, complete with bustling markets and stalls. These are a feast for the senses, full of vivid colours and aromatic scents.
Pick up some fish for lunch at the port, and spend the remainder of the day strolling around this unique and fascinating area.
Le Domaine du Val d’Argan - Agafay Desert
Leave Essaouira behind and enter the world of Morocco's famous desert land, in famous Agafay Desert.
stop off at tLe Domaine du Val d’Argan vineyards, which was established by the renowned wine-making Melia family. Famous for producing some fantastic homegrown wine, enjoy t tipple or two accompanied by a delicious lunch.
Your final destination for the day is the Agafay Desert, where you'll spend a night at candlelit Scarabeo Camp, sleeping under the stars. Feel completely at one with nature as you look out onto magnificent sand dunes and mile-long stretches of desert.

Get acquainted with the desert in the morning before continuing on your journey to the vibrant and popular city of Marrakech.
With the help of your local guide, seek out the lesser-known spots of Marrakech with a unique local tour. You’ll be acquainted with the best food stalls to visit, the best entertainment, and historic nooks that only a native would know about.
Discover the renowned square of Djemaa El Fna, Marrakech's medina quarter - the historic old city. You'll be wowed by an array of live entertainment - from fortune tellers and snake charmers to dancers and cooking displays.

Uncover more of Marrakech's past and culture with a tour of the Koutoubia Mosque - the most iconic mosque in the city. Listen to the chanting of Imam prayers that emanate from this 12th century place of worship five times a day.
Witness where royalty once lived, in the now ruined 16th century El Badi Palace, and learn about its battles and opulence of times gone past. The Bahia Palace - meaning 'brilliance' – was built much later, in the 19th century, and proudly exhibits beautiful gardens and stunning Moroccan architecture. An excursion to the Saadian Tombs, which was rediscovered in the early 1900s and is the final resting place of the Saadian dynasty, provides an interesting insight into the city’s past.
If you love nature and impeccable garden design, then you will enjoy the beautiful botanical garden at Majorelle Gardens, which is named after and created by the French painter in the 1920s. Wander around the stunning banana trees, coconut palms and bougainvillea, as well as the stunning lily ponds and fountains. This famous garden was taken over in more recent times by Yves Saint Laurent.
Join a Marrakech excursion to reveal each and every hidden gem of this captivating and culture-soaked city, as you wander through heady alleyways brimming with Arabian goods, from Moroccan teapots to mint tea leaves and spices piled high.

Today you get to unleash your creative juices with a cooking class at La Maison Arabe, at the impressive specialist cooking school located within this luxurious hotel’s grounds. This is a perfect way to understand and practice Moroccan cuisine, as skilled tuition from the chef will help you understand how to create local specialities such as lamb tagine, pastille and couscous. Sit down to lunch afterwards to tuck into the delights that were made by your own hands.
In the afternoon, visit some of the souks and shopping areas, and follow the trail from Djemma El Fna to the Musée de Marrakech. Selling a host of Moroccan goods such as spices, fragrances, and food, it’s easy to get caught up in the community buzz of Moroccan shopping.
Head back to your hotel for the night and dine on a rooftop restaurant as you watch people go by.
