Start your Journey
Nairobi
Upon arrival into Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your overnight stay, and the rest of the day is at leisure. Optional excursions to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage or the Karen Blixen Museum are available to arrange in the city.
Lake Nakuru
This morning depart Nairobi and embark on a 3hr - 4hr transfer to Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is situated in the Nakuru County of Kenya, approximately 160 kilometres northwest of Nairobi. Exploring Lake Nakuru can be done through game drives, which allow you to experience the park's diverse wildlife. Birdwatching is particularly rewarding, as the lake attracts a vast number of bird species. The park also has picnic spots, nature walks, and camping facilities for visitors to enjoy.
Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
After an early breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Njoro town, where you will begin your ascent up over the top of the Mau Escarpment. Then travel towards Narok, the gateway to the Masai Mara. You'll travel across the 'breadbasket' of Kenya, covered with acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Following lunch there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for sunset.
Masai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast you'll depart the Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi, the transfer is approximately 6 to 7 hours in duration. You'll arrive into Kenya's bustling capital in the early evening. Once in the the city transferred to the drop off point or the airport for your onwards travel arrangements.
