Yes, it’s possible to get married in the Seychelles. To apply for a special marriage licence, you need to be in the Seychelles for at least two days before your wedding ceremony and must advise the Civil State Office at least 11 days in advance.
How long is the flight to the Seychelles?
Flights to the Seychelles take approximately 12 hours and 40 minutes excluding stopovers. Qatar Airways, Emirates, Ethiopian Airways, Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways currently offer indirect flights as well as other international carriers from London Heathrow or Gatwick to Seychelles International Airport on the island of Mahé.
