Amangani, meaning 'Peaceful Home', is set in the majestic Wyoming countryside near two of the premier National Parks; Yellowstone and Grand Teton. During the summer months the local area offers a number of activities such as hot-air ballooning, , golf and horse riding while local guided treks of Yellowstone and Grand Teton are available. Come winter the resort receives on average 10 metres of snow and becomes a winter sport haven offering skiing, snowmobiling and sleigh rides.
