Giraffe Manor

The Main Manor Rooms are decorated superbly throughout. Each room is equipped with WiFi, tea and coffee facilities and fresh towels.

Named after Betty Leslie-Melville; conservationist and owner of Giraffe Manor. This south-facing room is equipped with a double bed and boasts a wonderful antique fireplace, as well as an Art Deco style en suite, providing a cosy atmosphere that is perfect for couples. Wake up early to feed the giraffes from your private balcony.

Named after Daisy Rothschild, the manor’s first giraffe, the room faces the stunning Ngong Hills and has a private balcony from which you can feed the giraffes. With the option of a double or two twin single beds, this room is ideal for friends or couples.

Named after Jock Leslie-Melville, conservationist and owner of Giraffe Manor, this room is a favourite among the giraffes, who regularly stop by in the mornings. Pellets are provided so be sure to give them a treat or two. Double or twin beds are available and the room is equipped with an en suite, complete with a bath and shower.

This top floor, main manor bedroom has a four poster king sized bed and a generous en suite. As it is situated above the bustling kitchen, the room suits those who are intending on a short stay at Giraffe Manor. The smell of fresh blueberry pancakes being cooked in the kitchen below is a welcome wake up call.

A Main Manor bedroom with period features, the Marlon room offers lots of character. When used in conjunction with the Lynn room, it is ideal for couples with young children.

This spacious suite is comprised of two levels and is located on the ground floor of the Giraffe Manor house. With a king size bed for couples and two single beds on the mezzanine level, it is ideal for families. 

The Garden Manor rooms are specifically for guests that are staying at one of Giraffe Manor's sister properties.

Named after Arlene Burzinski, this room is situated on the upper floor of the Garden Manor. Steeped in character and cosiness the Arlene is perfect for couples. Watch the giraffes roam the grounds from your king size four poster bed.

Although a new addition to the manor, this room is not without its charm. Striking stained glass windows and a super king size bed provides this room with a unique and luxurious character. Relax in the corner bathtub or entertain on the private veranda, which is equipped with its own bar. 

Located in the Garden Manor, the Helen is a spacious corner room. The room’s two four poster beds can be pushed together to make a double and an extra bed or cot can be provided upon request. Open the large windows for incredible views of the Ngong Hills and, on a clear day, even Mt. Kilimanjaro. Enjoy feeding visiting giraffes before breakfast time.

This traditionally decorated bedroom has three single beds, perfect for couples or small families. Relax in the en suite’s bathtub under the glow of a stained glass window and begin the morning with feeding inquisitive giraffes from your bedroom.

Salma’s room boasts south facing views over the lunch courtyard and sanctuary forest, thanks to its top floor location. A double or two twin beds are available with the added bonus of a sofa bed, making this room ideal for couples with a small child. Watch the giraffes roam the grounds from your private balcony.

Opening onto the courtyard, this room offers direct access to the giraffes. The room comprises a king size and two single beds, making the Finch Hatton perfect for families. Climb the spiral staircase and feed the animals from the room’s mezzanine. Finch Hatton has full wheelchair access.
