Tenaya Lodge is an impressive 35-acre resort set in beautiful forest just two miles from the South Gate of Yosemite National Park. This all-season resort offers a dazzling array of exciting activities to enjoy whatever the weather along with five seasonal dining options and cosy, luxurious accommodation. In the winter head to the Badger Pass Ski resort for alpine activities, take a horse-drawn sleigh ride to Yosemite or enjoy ice-skating at the hotel’s rink whilst in warmer seasons you can explore beautiful hiking routes, try rock-climbing on-site or just head straight to Yosemite and explore the world-famous national park. The Sierra landscape offers lakes, rivers and streams for fishers to take advantage of including the nearby Bass Lake. Take part in a fishing excursion or head out solo.

Snowshoe Hikes

Badger Pass

Try tubing, skiing and snowboarding at one of California’s top ski resorts, just a few miles from the resort. Friendly and affordable, this ski resort offers instruction, rental, a ski shop and a cafe.

Sugar Pine Railroad

Visit the railroad, set just a short distance from the resort, and enjoy a range of fee-based train journeys. Experience the thrill of riding the steam train, head out on a quaint jenny-rail car or take a journey on the midnight steam ride for a memorable night of food and entertainment.

Ice Skating

Head out onto the resort’s 40 x 80 foot ice rink set amidst the Sierra forest landscape and enjoy swirling and twirling around with all the family. Finish up with s’mores at the nearby fire pit for a true Yosemite experience.

Rafting

Enjoy rafting within the local area, whether you want gentle river rafting or exciting white-water rafting, Equipment is available for rent and please note that this is a seasonal, payable activity.

Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride

This activity is truly once-in-a-lifetime, letting guests experience the fairytale thrill of gliding through the Sugar Pines and Cedars.

Horseback Riding

Book a place on one of the seasonal rides and explore the beautiful Sierra woodland in this wonderfully traditional manner.

Biking

Swimming Pools

With two indoor pools and three outdoor pools, guests are never short of space to swim. Take the children to the zero-entry pool with mushroom water features, head to the adults-only pool for a more relaxing day or enjoy the warming waters of the five hot tubs to finish with.

Ascent Spa

Named by USA Today as one of the world’s best wellness resorts, the Ascent Spa plays a huge role in your Tenaya Lodge break. With 12 treatment rooms, Zen-inspired decor and a diverse range of payable treatments on offer, this spa is ideal for a rejuvenating treatment after a long day hiking the Yosemite trails.

Resort Fee

Tenaya lodge charges a mandatory resort fee of $20 per room, per day inclusive of tax in lieu of several incidental resort charges. This fee supports expanded services and amenities that the guests receive. Amount is subject to change without notice.

With a king bed and a separate sleeper sofa, this room option is the hotel’s most luxurious offering and lets guests enjoy more than 550 square feet of luxuriously decorated space. Enjoy soaking up the views from the balcony, look forward to a relaxing soak in the large bathtub and prepare a drink at the wet bar before resting in the comfy sitting area. All the standard facilities are there too including a cable television, a fridge and a coffee maker.

Deluxe Room

Measuring more than 350 square feet, this spacious room option offers a preferred view and all of the standard amenities including a cable TV, coffee maker and refrigerator.
