Due to UK Government legislation, you will need to provide Advance Passenger Information (API) before going on holiday. Airlines are legally obligated to collect this information for electronic transmission to the Customs and Immigration authorities of your destination(s).
The information you must provide varies depending on the country you are visiting, but generally includes:
- Full name (as it appears in your passport);
- Gender;
- Date of birth;
- Passport number;
- Country of issuance;
- Nationality;
- Expiry date.
The easiest way to provide the airline with your API is through your airline’s ‘Manage My Booking’ website. You will need to enter the lead name and your airline booking reference, which can be found under your flight details on your holiday documentation.
Please ensure your details are entered at least 72 hours before your departure date. If for any reason you are unable to supply your API information directly to the airline, please contact us directly on 0844 800 0745 with the above information and we can complete this for you.
